I chose this word because, in my world, having joy means not ‘faking’ the smile or acting happy when I am not, Having joy means being grateful for what I have and who I know. Being joyful helps others around you be joyful. Having joy and spreading joy are two of my favorite things to do. In the past couple of years, I have had a LOT of Joy taken from me by people or circumstances. Some of it was out of my control, but some of it wasn’t! This year, I want to be joyful every day and make sure that I never let anyone or anything steal my JOY!
