I chose the word “commitment” because I want to be an achiever and in order to be an achiever, you have to be committed. This word held up during the first semester in school because I was committed to all my classes and clubs I had joined. I showed commitment by putting in my best effort in my classes and attending the meetings held by the clubs. I also showed commitment to maintaining my grades at good levels. Although it was difficult, I was able to maintain my focus and continue working hard. I may have difficulty concentrating at times, but my commitment has allowed me to overcome that issue. Commitment allowed my determination to shine through. I am determined to maintain commitment as my One Word for the remainder of the year.
