Dictionary.com defines the word “Focus” in a number of disciplines that all connect to where I am or where I want to be in my life: clearly seeing with my heart what God intends for me to see each day and in each person I encounter, however (yes, there is that however/nevertheless wording Pastor Mike) I need to remember the physics definition of “focus” for my own transformation and growth, as well. Focus is “a point at which rays of light, heat, or other radiation, meet after being refracted or reflected.” Connecting with others in the faith who will pray with and encourage, but also hold me accountable is key to remaining focused on the right path. (Proverbs 23:19) This should be an exciting year of focus for me.
