My One Word: Still
From: Jamee Nelson
I chose the word “STILL” because it best describes how I want my soul to be this year, when my family and I are facing many changes, many of which we will have little control over, and a new addition to the family! I want to be STILL and know that God is with us, God is for us, and God is in control. I want to be STILL in my heart and trusting quietly in Jesus instead of frantic and worried, allowing anxious thoughts to race through my head. And I want to be STILL in the moment, enjoying the day that God has given me with the people He has given me, instead of trying to rush God to reveal His plan to us now, so that I know how our future will unfold.
