I’m choosing this word because the world is very distracting. So much information, so many things to keep me distracted from Gods truth. This year I’m going to focus on my marriage, my children, I’m going to focus on what the Lord puts in my heart to do so that I can do His will and not my own. I’m going to not just read the Word but focus on it and apply it to my life on a whole new level. Being focused means appreciation for what I have, not fixed on what I’m lacking. Being focused means I can hear God speak to me so that I can make any changes that might need to take place. Focus on all the great things my husband has to offer and stop staring off and wishing he were where I’m at spiritually. To be focused on that God is working in my life, even when I don’t see it I can focus in on Him and know that He is in control so I can let go.
