I saw the words “self-control” and “love” in the yellow wallpaper at Curves workouts for women one day, and the “self-control” and “love” morphed into “self-love” for me, which then morphed in “honor”, as in honoring myself. To honor myself…… by doing the things that are a part of me and are bursting beneath the surface, setting up an arts and crafts room, putting pen to paper on my life reflections, cooking healthy food for myself and my son, yoga and tennis for me, playing my guitar….all the things I love and long to do that are a part of me.
