My accountability group has chosen to covenant with each other to love the Lord, our God, with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength. So obviously, the relationship that should be most important to me is the Lord God. But all the other relationships he has given me – family, friends, coworkers, etc. – also require a level of dedication. I want to meditate daily on going deeper in relationship first of all with God, but also in my daily life with others. Another verse that will be a part of this is Romans 12:12, “be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, and faithful in prayer.” I feel that this attitude will also help me in all my relationships.
