The word I felt directed to choose really didn’t show up on my list. The word is “connect.” It was something that sort of arrived as an impression. The more I meditated on it, the more it just sort of fit. This year I want to connect with God. I want to connect with my wife. I want to connect with my kids, and I want to connect them with resources, opportunity, and wisdom. I want to be a connector for my clients, connecting solutions to their problems and needs. I want to connect subcontractors to opportunity. I don’t want to be present and disconnected. I want to connect.
