Too often I see middle of the road people taking a stand on one side or the other and spewing information about differences not seeking similarities on how we are connected. This seems to happen at work with departments aligning more with their silos than the company’s vision, and it also happens with friends and family as it pertains to their political views and social positions. I would like to focus this year on finding common ground that crosses the divides to help people build better relationships that will bring them a greater sense of community, happiness and purpose.
