My One Word: Steady
From: WhitleyHill
The definition for steady is constant in feeling, principle, purpose, or attachment. It also means direct or sure in movement, firm in position, and showing liitle variation or fluctuation.
As I thought about the coming year, I resolved not to make any resolutions. But I felt there were many opportunities I want to take hold of. I don’t want to do more, but I want to “be.”
I want to be steady in my temperament, steady in my purpose, steady in my work. I want to be steady in my relationships. I suppose some other words that relate are single-minded, steadfast, sincere, and genuine. The word “steady” seemed to sum up my desires for this year.
