While it seems super generic, I chose the word “better” because I wanted something that, each day, will force me think about how to make my life better than it was the previous day, month, and year. There are things we always can do better at, and that is my focus for the entire year. I am excited that this word will allow me to focus on the physical, spiritual, emotional, and relational aspects of my life, so it can have an impact on my life as a whole where I currently am. I am ready to be BETTER in 2017 – not because of what I can do, but because of He who lives in me!
