My One Word: SPARKLE
Having chosen the word “change” in 2011, I lost my job on January 5. I thought God was guiding me to a job change, but ended the year with a “heart” change. 2012 brought the word “commitment”, and I was thinking of my quiet time, family, health, etc., but again God took it into a different direction for me to commit to follow Him in a job opportunity. After almost two years without a job and now the stress of learning a new one, I’m tired. My energy is low and I’m anxious. This year my word is “SPARKLE” and the verse is “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven”. Not only do I want the sparkle in my eyes, but I want to sparkle for Christ. I want my life to shine and reflect Jesus in all that I do and say.
