Because after years of being torn down and my self-esteem finally torn to shreds, I think it’s time for me to focus on what beauty truly is: loving myself and refusing to let anyone or anything make me feel any differently. Beautiful is more than what we look like or something we have: beautiful is who we are, because of who we serve. And beautiful is what I want to be this year: to see beauty in myself, others, and the world around me.
