My One Word: magnanimous
From: sumteacher
Magnanimous encompasses so much of what Jesus teaches us. It means to be courageously noble in mind and heart; generous in forgiving; eschewing resentment or revenge; unselfish.
Ephesians 4:31-32 Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.
