My One Word: STRENGTH
My one word for 2014 is strength. When I ratiocinate of the word strength, I will ratiocinate of the way that I can be stronger for my family as well as my friends. If they are going through a difficult time I shall be there to help them through their transgressions. I will be able to see in my journey that I have been strong in my Christian walk of life. When I say this I remember Joshua 1:9 in the bible. God says, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” This tells me that no matter where I am I shall be strong because I have my God there with me. Also, strength in the way I treat others around me; if they lash out at me I shall keep my tongue from flailing and lashing out at them. Strength in my heart, my mind, my body and my hands, so that, when I get mad or frustrated I don’t take my anger out on other people or the person that made me mad or frustrated. Instead, I should just keep my mouth shut, empty my thoughts, relax my hands and most importantly not punch anything around me. In conclusion, I have to use the word STRENGTH in order to control my physical, mental and emotional strengths.
