I often prefer to avoid dark and difficult people and situations in my life. As a Christian, I am called to bring light and hope to these places, to “shine for Him”. Thus, my one word for 2014!

Philippians 2:15 “… that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world …”
