Vitality means a life active & vigorous; devoted to God. The Hebrew definition that I found stated that vitality meant breath, the soul; the vital force that causes life. The Greek word for vitality is “zoe” and means absolute fullness of life. I am in those sandwich years, caring for aging parents and young adult children finding there independence. I am hoping that I can become more physically and spiritually fit as I face my own aging issues. I want to age full of Grace & Vitality. The song by Sara Barielles called “Chasing the Sun” is my theme song for vitality. In it, some of the verse states “…so fill up your lungs and run…always be chasing the sun (Son)! …live like you’re still alive….” I am excited to continue this journey, empowered by God!
