My word this year is Presence. As I spent time in prayer and reflecting on the things God’s been teaching me as I’ve been considering a word for this new year, I felt like the thing I needed so deeply in my life was to:
1. Recognize and invite God’s presence into every aspect of my life. Nothing held back. Nothing reserved for myself.
2. Choose to be personally present in the lives of the people God has surrounded me with on a day to day basis…submitting to His will and turning towards giving my attention to the people I’m called to love AND choosing to accept the love that so many want to give me that I often miss out on because I’m not present with them.
