My word started out as “listen”. I felt it was important to listen to what people were really saying to me when we talked. But then I wondered, how will anyone know that I am truly listening? I decided on the word “reply”. If I gave a decent enough response to what they were saying then folks would know that I was truly listening. Proverbs 15:23 says “Joy is found in an apt reply, and how good is a timely word”. Reply, that’s my one word
