My One Word: Serenity
From: Relax & Trust
Since I’m envisioning being more gentle in speech (and a better listener); being more fruitful (without being addicted to busyness); responding to life with quiet wisdom (rather than panic);
being more confident (rather than fearful); seeing the Christ in everyone’s face (rather than the gloom, anger, or their patronizing, criticizing, or even seemingly ignoring me); being more in the mode of “Be still and know that I am God” (rather than in a frantic rush); being more faithfully expectant of the daily Manna God provides (rather than worry); living more fully in the Moment (rather than with anxiety), I have chosen “serenity” as the word that I’m sure God is going to help me learn about and grow into, beyond my wildest dreams.
