My One Word: Anchor

An anchor is something that keeps a boat from drifting. Hebrews 2:1 says “So we must listen carefully to the truth we have heard, or we may drift away from it.” My prayer for this year is that I will listen to God’s calling and that he will help me to anchor down on a number of things in my life.
