I’m tired of hearing people say “I’ll pray for you!” whenever someone has a need. It’s mostly just Christianese. I know that I’m judging when I say that most people do NOT pray when they promise they will, so i want to be GENUINE in everything I do. Be GENUINE towards God. GENUINE towards friends. GENUINE towards strangers. GENUINE in my words, love and actions. GENUINE in my responses. I want to MEAN and to BE what I say – I don’t want to spew Christianese and be an empty vessel. I want to be open, honest, trustworthy – GENUINE. This is the year that I try to make all areas of my life merge into one: I am what you see. I am GENUINE.
