Originally I chose ice cream….I was really challenged through my word of 2013 so I pretty much figured I’d be safe with ice cream…no matter how God chose to change me I’d be ok….if he had me eat it, not eat it, make it, want it, miss it, share it, it’d be ok. But ultimately safe is not so good. So my word is measure. Measure my words with my kids, family, co workers. Listen and pause before responding. Measure my words. Measure and be grateful for all things not just the good easy things but also finding the blessings in the challenges. Find the blessings! …..and maybe measure my waste to inspire me to eat less ice cream!
