My One Word: RESTORATION
In the past ten years I have gone through a most difficult valley. Broken marriages and relationships. Separation from my children and a sense of failure as a parent. Losing my mental stability to major depression and anxiety then becoming homeless. I had never dreamed I would reach such a desparate state of affairs. So much loss, sadness, and despair. No amount of crying would really change anything so I made a decision this year to try something different. Taking an offensive rather than a defensive tactic against obstacles, such as becoming more bold about making changes. I decided to declare this year a year of Restoration! The scripture that came to mind was Joel 2:25. Then I found out about the OneWord movement and decided to join hands with this movement because it seemed to fit my idea of instead of tackling a gazillion things at once to just focus on one thing I could change or claim change for.
