I wasn’t set on my word until I read a PC3 devotional on context about Paul writing Philippians while in prison instructing others to rejoice! I have been struggling with my job, my future, my wants, my past dreams and being unhappy in where I am in my life–and I work in a nice office with an amazing work family! Rejoice will remind me to look at the context around me, the bigger picture, how I already fit in and benefit those around me and how wonderful it is that I can walk with God in public without fear! I also want to use my one word to do an in depth study of Paul this year! I want to rejoice in God’s love and His Word, trusting in Him.
