Believe. Believe in myself. Believe in others. Believe that good conquers evil. Believe that what I do matters. Believe that I have the power to make a difference in our world. Believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Believe that caring for myself is as important as caring for others. Believe that I am responsible for caring for our planet. Believe that I am responsible for caring for animals in need. Believe that I can do so much more than I ever thought possible. I chose “believe” because as an action verb, this word puts the responsibility on me. Rather than state what I want “to be.” I’ve determined that this one word, “believe,” will directly lead me to the change I want to affect in my life. I believe it can have the same effect on others as well.
