I have actually been doing this since 2006, so it is really cool to see that others are doing the same thing. I ask God to reveal a word to me, and it is not always right at New Years. When I started in 2006 it was at New Years, but often He will give me a new word as I go along during the year. I am the oldest sibling, a boss at work, a mom, and a leader at our church. That is why I believe God chose the word influence for me. How are my actions influencing those around me? Am I being the kind of influence that I want to be?
