God and I have been talking about the things behind my word before He gave me the word itself. I’d never heard about My One Word until just a couple of weeks ago. I received my word after reading about M.O.W., and then the scripture verse 1Peter 3:4 after buying the book. This is not only about holding my tongue, but also waiting upon the words that I DO speak. It’s about my relationship with my husband, but it’s even more about my relationship with God. It has to do with fostering a quiet spirit, finding that deep quiet place in my heart so that I can hear Him when He whispers even though it’s noisy all around me. It has to do with meekness (quiet strength) and trusting Him (humility). There is so much to that word…this might sound strange, but that single word, Quiet, is like an ocean I want to swim in, and dive down deep. There is treasure there. 🙂
