My One Word: “ALL IN”
Several years ago at a women’s retreat it was suggested to pick a word at the beginning of each year to focus on and allow God to transform you. I had been practicing it for around 6 or 7 years, but for some reason I didn’t in 2014 now looking back I believe it was because God was putting me in a rest mode to get me ready for 2015. Early December I felt like I’m holding back holding onto the past and not allowing God to use me in the ways He desires. It was a Sunday and everything was pointing to being “ALL IN” Sunday school, worship, prayer time and then when I was reading the Word it was confirmed God gave me a life verse
8 Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee. 9 Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.10 Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.
So technically it isn’t one word but it is from God and I won’t argue with Him.
