Ever since I was young, I have been taught to be tough. Yes, this is a good thing, but not in every aspect. i chose love because I find myself being tough in the wrong areas of my life. Love reminds me to love God, above alll else, and not to hide from him because he Loves me too. Also, Love reminds me to keep others into consideration, and love them before my own self. However, it means Love myself also. It helps me not to focus on all of my mistakes and failures and to love and forgive myself just as Christ would. Lastly, Love reminds me to be open to love. To let others love me. Coming from divorce, I have never felt deserving of affection or love, because I was not shown love or an example of it. Love reminds me not to push God or other people away. It reminds me that there is Love and support for me as long as I allow myself to recieve it.
