My One Word: Yield
From: Angie P
Chose my “One Word” for 2013…. YIELD.
Looked up yield to see what the official definition was.. found two.
1. to give up to a superior higher authority. 2. to give forth or produce
This year I need to give up to be able to give forth.
Hebrews 12:11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful, yet those who have been trained by it, afterwards it YIELDS the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
Psalm 1:2-3 But his delight is in the law of the Lord and he meditates on it day and night. He is like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which YIELDS fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
Lord teach me to YIELD to You so that you might YIELD/produce something new in me!
