I love words that work on multiple levels.
First, I want to spend more time outside this year. I feel very strongly that God speaks to us not only through scripture, but also through His creation.
Second, I want to develop the eyes to see outside of myself. Each of us, believer or not, affects people around us. Be it our family, friends, coworkers, or just passers-by, the people we come across in person or online each and every day walk away from us with some impression, even if it is just a subconscious one. I want to be more aware of this. I want to reflect Jesus in such a way that the impact I leave on people isn’t borne out of me, but out of Christ.
And third, my daughter, who will turn two in scant few months, absolutely loves playing outside.
