I chose magic as my word because street magic has been a part of my life since i was 12 years old, i would do it all the time in junior high school but then got out of doing it when i started playing music in high school. The past 2 years i have been slowly getting back into it and recently i realized how great of a talent it actually is!
Magic is a great way to break down barriers with people and bring their shields down, bringing them back to a child-like state of awe and wonder. It can, even if its just for a second, make them question the very reality they think they know, providing the perfect opportunity to present the gospel and my Faith in Jesus Christ without being “preachy”.
I have a passion to see people excited about God and want to use this talent to perform for whoever i can to help spread my passion, love, and excitement about God and what he has done in my life.
I would love to be performing at youth groups, church’s and any sort of events that would allow me to do so by the end of this year. Part of me would love to make it a career to do ministry as a magician around the U.S. or even just here in the Quad Cities area, but whatever becomes of it, i will praise God and give him all glory even if it stays nothing more than just a hobby.
