I chose my word, FASTEN, because what I really wanted was 2 words: Hold Fast. Hebrews 10:23: Let us hold fast the confession of our hope, without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. I’m praying for God to use this word in my life this year to remind me to hold fast to Him in all circumstances. The last 3 years have been tough for our family: my youngest daughter had cancer, my husband had to go on disability and stop working, we lost our house and over half our income. God has been faithful to us and I’ve learned so much. I know God is holding fast to me, and I want to learn how to better hold fast to Him.
