Arise is defined as coming into being, getting up, standing up, moving upward. Some of the synonyms are ascend, aspire, climb, lift, mount, rise, and soar. This is a picture of what I believe my next year is to look like…moving forward in all aspects of my life, with my focus ever upward as I follow Jesus. I’m being called out of my comfort zone in some areas, and another meaning of arise is to originate from a source, my source being Christ. Love this word already!
