My One Word: Listen

I like to fix things. When my spouse, friends or employees talk to me, I find myself formulating my response before they are done talking. I need to listen, pause, and then respond after I have all the information. In my prayer life, I pray my requests and thanksgivings, then take a brief break for God to answer before I move on to the next item. I need to learn to listen more intently to what God and others have to say. I don’t have all the answers.
