Last year my word was trust. I wanted to learn to fully trust God and His promises. I started spending my quiet time each morning reading the Bible and keeping a journal about my prayers, thanksgivings, and thoughts. I realized by the end of the year, by doing these things faithfully, that the reason I was trusting God more was because I was getting to know God more. It struck me that it is that simple. We trust someone once we get to know them, and the more we get to know them the more we trust them. My word for 2015 is KNOW, because I want to get to know God fully and completely in order to continue on my journey of trusting Him.
