I have to face a bunch of challenges this year, as I’m moving to a new city. My tendency is to give in to fear and hide from the things that make me afraid. I want to practice facing my fears and not giving in to them, and I think the word courage will help me remember to do that. I hope that after a year of practicing courage, I will find that it is second nature.
