I prayed for God to show me what characteristic He wanted ti develop in me and “consistent” popped in my head. I know that I’m not consistent now… sporatic Bible reading, prayer, exercise, craft projects … you name it. Something holds my attention for a short time then I’m on to something else without finishing the first thing. I need to be consistent … finishing one project, book or study before bouncing off to something new. I need to be in prayer and in His word daily .. on a regular, CONSISTENT basis not just a verse or two here and there and arrow prayers shot toward heaven. Father, help me be more consistent in my walk with You and in every area of my life. Develop in me the ability to follow through on my commitments and the perseverance to see something through to completion. Help me honor and glorify you in the way I complete tasks in a timely and orderly way. Draw me closer to You and Your purpose for my life by focusing on being consistent in everything You begin In my life.
