I have chosen the word obedience in order to break the sin cycle I have become trapped in. I find myself consciously performing the same sins over and over again for which I loathe myself. I know this sin separates me from God and destroys my soul. I have struggled for the past few years to break free from this sin without much success; the temptation is all too often overpowering. It is my hope that by keeping the single word “obedience” at the forefront of my consciousness, and dedicating regular prayer to this goal I will be set free.
