I have chosen Prayer as my 2017 My One Word . My 2016 word was Enlighten, which resulted in devoting myself to lifting up others’ and inspiring them (specifically the students at the school where I work). This segued into praying diligently for some the last 2 months of the year, which resulted in God showing His miraculous power. He is SO amazing! I want to grow in my prayer life, devoting time EVERY day to pray for others. Ephesians 6:18 states that we should “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.” That will be my focus this year.
