But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.

I spent this past year with the word Embrace. I wanted to embrace my beliefs and wanted to embrace God more. This year I purpose in my heart to stay true to God and not to let the world entice me to defile myself.
