All my life I have complicated my life by overdoing,working too hard at people pleasing, doing all things for all people. Even now in retirement, life is too busy, too fragmented. A recent death in the family, my husband’s brother, opened my eyes to how fragile life is, how quickly it can be snatched away. I want to live a simpler life enjoying my home, my husband and our family, and allowing God to direct my days rather than always feeling I must be in control. I know He can bring plans to the table we didn’t expect so I’m looking forward to an exciting year of focusing on simplify!
