My theme for this year has been, “Better than I used to be.” I chose this because often we strive toward these lofty goals and devalue any fruit or change we actually have made while striving for the ultimate goal. I want to be a better husband, father, pastor, follower of Christ, person. So I chose Better as my word as a reminder in all areas of life to bear fruit, and be Better than I used to be.
Proverbs 8:19- My fruit is better than fine gold; what I yield surpasses choice silver.
