I chose ‘afraid’ as my word this year because I am sick and tired of being fearful in an age of liminality. More accurately, “Do Not Be AFRAID” is my focus this year. Luke 1:30 is my focus. “Don’t be afraid, Mary,” the angel told her, “for you have found favor with God!”
