Colossians 3:12-13
Father God, I desire to be more merciful with those in my life. When they offend, I want to have more compassion. When they let me down, I want to have more forgiveness. When they don’t live up to my high expectations, I want to have more patience. I am not the judge, and I have wrongly taken on that responsibility. Teach me Lord, from your Word, how to show mercy with unconditional love. With the help of the Holy Spirit. I will do my best to show mercy as you have shown mercy to me. Amen.
