Last year I had great success with my One word, Love. That word changed my life in so many rich and meaningful ways. I started to think about what was one of the things that stole my joy in life. I was allowing others and other situations to steal my joy. So I started to wonder, why am I allowing them to steal my joy. Well I realized, its because I need to be more patient with them. I need to be more patient in everything. i need to relax and appreciate that which God has presented to me and be grateful. Interestingly enough as my word for 2014 was love; the first line of 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 is “Love is patient”. How fitting! I believe this word is going to be a challenge for me but I welcome it and I am excited to see what God does with this word in my life this coming year.
