My One Word: Willing
A year ago I got a tattoo with words saying “Thy will be done.” I thought it accurately portrayed the kind of heart that I want to have when tragedy strikes my life. Something that says “everything is a part of a greater plan and that in the end it will be for my good.” However, I realize now that it is also represents the kind of heart I need to have when I know I need to get out of my comfort zone and stop being complacent. I recently read the book “Goliath Must Fall” by Louie Giglio and through his book, God placed in my perspective something I have not quite considered. Me being too comfortable with life can actually be my downfall. As Louie says in his book, life is too short and there’s too many people who have yet to hear the name of Jesus for us to be complacent. So, with that being said, I want to be WILLING to step out of my comfort zone to fulfill His will.
