Previous years’ words (in order): surrender, believe, renew, flourish. After a few years of moving, new jobs and a brand new child, my struggle to continue living life at full speed tends to rob me of the chance to see God’s work and experience His love in its fullness. I watched my daughter on the beach on New Year’s Day and sensed God calling me to a space of “slow” – slow to react, slow to move, and slow to work.
