My One Word: GLORY
I want to understand more of God’s Glory. I want more of God’s Glory.
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory, and the lifter of my head. Psalm 3:3
We hear the word a lot in song, “Glory, Glory Hallelujah!…” Scriptures, “Glory to God in the Highest!…” Prayer, “Glory to you Lord!…” And we hear it shouted, “Shaka Glory!” But what is Glory? What does it really mean? How do we walk in God’s Glory?
That’s what I aim to find out.
Glory – in a state of extreme joy or exaltation; take great pride or pleasure in; a luminous ring or halo; the splendor and bliss of heaven; magnificence; great beauty; high renown or honor won by notable achievements; take great pride or pleasure in…
How do all these definitions (and more) fit in to my relationship with my heavenly Father? What does it mean to “walk in” the Glory of God?
I hope you’ll join me each Wednesday at http://thejoyfulservant.com as I explore Glory.
Have a wonderful day
